It is a wood-free coated paper with a special triple double-sided coating, which contains mainly pigments and adhesives. They are the most common group of papers used for full-color printing. Coated papers are intended primarily for printing flyers, posters, books and magazines. Coated papers have a closed surface, on which the ink dries superficially. By preventing the ink from being absorbed, the paper allows for a very bright and contrasty image. Coated papers also allow for very accurate color reproduction (matching the print with the source data).
